The objective of Five-Up Dominoes is to be the
first person or team to attain 250 points during a match. A match is a series of games wherein
points are accumulated and carried over until a winner is declared.
Points may be awarded during the play of the game by making the exposed ends of the
skeleton
total to a multiple of five (5), thus scoring the corresponding number of points.
The winner at the end of each game also scores points for all the
pips
remaining in the other players' hands rounded the nearest multiple of five (5).
Two, three, or four players sit around a table. If there are four players, the group may
choose to play as teams with those opposite each other at the table scoring and playing
strategy cooperatively, or as in the case of two and three players, each player may keep
his own score.
